These Terms of Use govern your use of the Rules Caddie mobile application ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What Rules Caddie Is

Rules Caddie provides AI-assisted interpretations of the USGA Rules of Golf for informational purposes. Answers are grounded in the official rulebook but are not a substitute for an official ruling by a certified Rules Official in a formal competition. For competitive play, always consult your Committee or a qualified Rules Official.

Subscription

Rules Caddie offers a monthly auto-renewable subscription ("Rules Caddie Pro") that unlocks unlimited questions.

Price: $4.99 per month
Billing is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel your subscription in your iPhone Settings under your Apple ID → Subscriptions

Free Questions

New users receive a limited number of free questions before a subscription is required. This allowance is per account and is not transferable.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Rules Caddie does not process refunds directly.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the App's AI features
Share, resell, or transfer your account or subscription to others
Submit content that is abusive, offensive, or unrelated to golf rules

Disclaimer

Rules Caddie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantee that AI-generated rulings are accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation. Use of the App is at your own discretion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rules Caddie and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any penalty strokes incurred on the course.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
